THANK YOU FOR THE PAST....
WORKING FOR A FUTURE!
THE FIGHT CONTINUES....
Tri'n 4 Ryan at the NJ State Triathlon
2010 TEAM Ryan's Quest
80 team members strong competed over the weekend
of July 24th & 25th at the NJ State Triathlon held at Mercer County Park for one reason, to fight Duchenne muscular
dystrophy. The triathlon team was comprised of serious athletes along with many first timers who were out to support this worthy
cause. The NJ State triathlon, which is organized by CGI racing, consists of over 2500 competitors.Members of the Tri’n 4 Ryan team
collected donations to sponsor their participation over the last several months. The event raised $20,000 for muscular dystrophy research. “It
is amazing how this situation can push you to do things you never thought you were capable of doing. We will continue to try
everything under the sun to raise money to help researchers and doctors find a treatment for this horrible disease”, stated David
Schultz. Team sponsors this year included New Balance of Princeton, Bicycle Pro of Bordentown, Hamilton Fitness Center,
First Choice Bank, and Roma Bank.
Climb to Cure Duchenne
In August 2009, we were proud to join a journey that knows no limits...a climb of one of the nation's
largest mountain ranges, Mt. Rainier in Washington State. The twin goals of this climb were to raise awareness and funds to
support research. Each climber was responsible for raising $14,410 dollars by the August climb date; with each dollar representing
one foot of the mountain's total elevation. Ryan's Dad, David Schultz, joined forces with, a California based non
profit organization for DMD by representing Ryan's Quest. Thanks to supporters like you, we reached and exceeded
our organization's goal by raising over $15,000!
One GIANT step for Ryan's Quest (2010)
Ryan’s Quest is happy to announce their most profitable fund raiser since the inception
of the organization. NFL Pro-bowler and former NY Giant, Jessie Armstead along with co-owner of Hamilton Honda, Michael Saporito
sponsored this knock-out event held last month at the Mercer Oaks Golf course in West Windsor, NJ. Each of the two courses were
filled with golfers excited for the day’s events. Two hundred twenty guests not only played an amazing round; but also the had opportunity
to meet, take pictures with and receive autographs from several former and current NFL players including NY Giants; Jessie Armstead,
Antonio Pierce, Rodney Hampton, Jonathan Goff, Chase Blackburn, Bryan Kehl and Philadelphia Eagle, Jeremiah Trotter,.
Following
the day on the greens, was a dinner reception as well as a live and silent auction that would most certainly never be forgotten. Attendants enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres. and live entertainment by Edgar & Friends. Speeches were given by Ryan's parents,
Maria & David Schultz, along with his grandfather, Pasquale Locane, on behalf of Ryan and Ryan's Quest to raise awareness about
Duchenne muscular dystrophy. A video sideshow was also shown highlighting the growth and efforts of the organization since its
establishment in March of 2008. Perhaps the most heartwarming and exciting highlight was the announcement at the very end of
the video stating that over a half of a million dollars has been raised by Ryan’s Quest to help fight Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
The silent and live auctions proved to be a huge success, especially when Jessie Armstead got involved and ran the show! Moved by the speeches given on behalf of Ryan and the thousands of other boys affected by DMD all around the world, Jessie moved
the crowd to make some money. Jeremiah Trotter and Eli Manning autographed memorabilia and two sets of Coaches Club NY Giants
tickets were auctioned off, getting the crowd pumped up and raising thousands of dollars for the cause!
With the support and
generosity of all of the sponsors, golfers, an outstanding committee, and of course the official event sponsors, Jessie
Armstead, Michael Saporito, & Hamilton Honda, and all of the NFL players, Ryan's Quest raised over $50,000 for research!
Thank you so much to everyone involved from Ryan's Quest and from all the other young men and families who are affected by this disease.

The third time is certainly a charm! The 3rd Annual Ryan's Quest Fest has proven to be a community favorite...not to mention Ryan's. With 1,000 supporters in attendance the day was full of fun...even amidst the rain. Some of the yearly favorites were face painting, juggling, pony rides & tattoo artists; we also added some new entertainment to the list such as stilt walkers, tow truck displays, and a magic show! We cannot forget to mention the live entertainment by all of the bands and the law enforcement appeal of the K9 dog demos, military vehicles, and the landing of the NJ State Police Helicopter.
This event continues to be a great success...However, this would never be possible without the help of all of you. Thank you to all who attended, volunteered their time, or donated goods or services that day! Again, we were able to raise a remarkable amount of funds for research! A special thank you to our feature sponsor Roma Bank, our Food Sponsor Foley's Shop N'Bag, and Hamilton Honda for your support in this event.
3rd Annual Ryan's Cup Hockey Game HTPD v. HTFD
2011 Golf Tournament
What originally began as a picnic grew into a community favorite
for all ages. With every activity and attraction
that a child could
wish for, several popular bands and food galore...who could ask for more?
With over 2,000 people in attendance,
this year’s fest was the best yet!
Our goal was for families to enjoy the day’s festivities & to raise awareness
and funding for
Duchenne muscular dystrophy….and we did just that!
Over $35,000 will be directed to research due to this event.
We would
like to thank all everyone for coming out to the FEST!
The feeling of support was overwhelming. We would also like to
thank
our Feature Sponsor, Roma Bank and our Official Food Sponsor’s
Buzzetta’s Festival Foods, Foley’s Shop N’Bag, & Global Planners
Inc.
Lastly, a special thanks to all who volunteered their time or services to make this event successful. It is because of you that
we can continue to have such a great and affordable event for families to attend while also helping Ryan and the thousands of boys
like him!
We hope that you will all join us again next year!
For Family Fun the Ryan’s Quest Fest was #1!
Over 200 golfers attended the Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Ryan's Quest, sponsored by Hamilton Honda & NFL Legend Jessie
Armstead. The greens on the course were in beautiful shape and so were the greens that were raised for Duchenne muscular dystrophy
research. Golfers had the opportunity to meet and greet several former NFL players including Jessie Armstead, Antonio Pierce,
Lincoln Coleman, Kevin Williams, & Marcus Buckley. After a round of golf on a gorgeous day, the event concluded with a delicious
dinner & a LIVE and silent auction hosted by Jessie Armstead. Jessie took over the mic (and the crowd) with his motivation
& determination to raise some money for RQ! He auctioned off some really nice prizes including GIANTS & EAGLES autographed
memorabilia & a personal guided tour of GIANTS stadium for 4! Antonio Pierce joined in the action by auctioning off a chance
for 4 lucky people to attend ESPN for a tour of the facility and a viewing of Sports Center! While these items were quite a surprise,
it was no surprise to us that this event would be another great success!
A special thank you to Hamilton Honda & Jessie
Armstead!
Thank you to all the event sponsors & contributors and of course...our TEAM of volunteers. We couldn't have done it
without you!
For the 3rd straight year, Hamilton's Finest (Police Officers) and Hamilton's Bravest (Firefighters) hit the ice in hopes to save
a special little boy and thousands like him. They competed in the Ryan's Cup-a charity hockey game to benefit Ryan's Quest.
While they shared a common goal, they also shared the determination to win! Ryan dropped the first puck to begin the game
and enjoyed rooting for Daddy's friends. With a tie score at the end of the 3rd period of 3-3, the game led to a shootout with the
Hamilton Police Department winning the cup! Congrats to all for a great game! A special thank you to Kevin McElroy for the planning
of this event.
